Our Charity of Choice
For a number of years, we have been proud to support the Lighthouse Club. The Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity is the only charity that offers assistance to construction workers and their families. Sadly, this is an area that is currently completely overlooked by public funding and is obviously a cause close to our heart given the industry that we’re in.
Lighthouse Charity
The Lighthouse Club offers emotional, physical, and financial well-being assistance to construction workers and their loved ones. The charity was set up in 1956 by a group of London based builder merchants who were concerned about the mental health of their employees. The group wanted to provide support for workers who were struggling with the demands of their job. The charity offers a number of services, including:
- emotional support helpline
- financial assistance
- access to mental health services
- physical health support
- training and development programmes.
