Our 44,000 square foot factory on the outskirts of London allows us to handle large-scale projects with precision and efficiency. We continually invest in the very latest technology and our factory includes laser cutting, CNC machining and punching, panel bending and folding, welding, fabrication and finishing. Being based in the capital means that we’re fantastically well-located for fast deliveries across London and beyond.

Laser Cutting and Steel Processing

At Elite, we take pleasure in being one of the UK’s major providers of 2D laser cutting. This allows us to always meet the specific needs of our customers. Whether our customers need large or small parts, low or high volumes, we are set up to produce great quality components for production.

The Team at Elite uses the LVD Phoenix FL-3015. Our machine is capable of cutting a wide range of materials including steel, aluminium, brass, wood and plastics.

Key Stats

*  Can take a maximum sheet size of 3000mm x 1500mm.

*  Can cut mild steel up to 25mm thick, aluminium up to 30mm thick and stainless steel up to        25mm thick.

* Maximum workpiece weight is an impressive 750kg.

* Accurate to within +/- 0.08mm. This is unrivalled in the industry and ensures that you always         receive the highest quality products from the Elite Metal Group.

You can never have enough equipment! For this reason, we also have a FICEP Orient DFB Series.

* Our FICEP drill has combined bandsaws to carry out straight or mitred cuts (+45/-60 degrees).

* In addition to drilling, functions including milling, tapping, countersinking and scribing facility for part identification and layout guide marking.

Folding and Rolling of Metal

The Elite Metal Group’s metal folding and rolling equipment ensures we can meet a wide range of demands. Our staff of highly trained engineers can handle all sorts of projects, from single one-of-a-kind goods to big volumes and manufacturing runs. Using the most up-to-date press braking technology, we are able to provide a fast turnaround service with the accuracy that Elite Metal Group has long been recognised for.

The Amada Promecam HFB 170 is a 3-axis CNC controlled machine that can perform all kinds of operations, such as folding, bending, cutting, drilling and tapping.

Key Stats

* Ability to bend metal over 3 metres wide with an impressive force of up to 170 tonnes.

* Capable of folding up to 6mm thickness in all types of metal.

This machine is just one example of the many that we have at our disposal. Within the estate, we also have access to an Amada Promecam IT2/100 HFB 170-3. This machine is slightly smaller but no less versatile and can be used for similar tasks when our factory is busy.

In terms of rollers, we have our Faccin 4HEL 3128. With 4 rolls this machine can be used for a range of purposes including plate bending, pipe bending, tank head forming and dishing and flanging. Rolling to a maximum thickness of 50.8mm with a power of 11.2k, it’s a robust bit of kit.

CNC Punching Machine

Elite offers high-accuracy, fast, and inexpensive metal products and parts through CNC punching. In sheet metal manufacturing, the use of Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) punching is critical for producing precision.

Our Factory offers horizontal and vertical CNC machining centres, which means we can create engineered components with a tight tolerance quickly and in large quantities. We also have sliding head lathes and turning centres to meet any specifications. With our engineering experience, we’re able to offer a competitive service for all your machining requirements that rivals the very best in the business.

We have the capability to punch anything from easy designs like circles or rectangles to more challenging 3D geometrical shapes, or even company logos. We love a challenge!

We use the FICEP P51 that helps us quickly and accurately punch holes in metal.

Key Stats

* Capable of punching holes in material 3mm-25mm thick.

* Maximum diameter punch of 40mm.

* Has a punching force of kN 800 throughout its entire stroke.

* 1000 x 500mm axis.

In addition to this, we have a 3025 PERF-O-MATOR single end punch which is used for all types of end work, including flanging, forming and notching. This machine is capable of punching 130mm diameter holes in 3-130mm thick metal and can work at 90 strokes per minute meaning we never miss a deadline.
